Bar Stool
This walnut-backed stool stands 43" and is supported by two naturally-bent apple branches "growing" from the back of the maple slab seat. The seat measures 32" tall. The walnut for this chair, salvaged from a tree growing beside the lower Puget Sound, shaded three generations of one family's summer gatherings. Other species of wood used are: chestnut, black locust, dogwood, birch and hazelnut.
